Not many people know how to search an unlisted number. In fact, most people wouldn’t even have a clue that it was possible. I never did! Now I wish I had of realized how easy it is to find an unlisted phone number, all you really need is the internet.
Knowing how to search an unlisted number is a pretty good skill to have. Most people have silent numbers these days. I guess they get sick of calls from marketers interrupting their dinner. The thing is, it makes it really hard for people that they know to find them when they really need to speak with them.
That is the reason why I needed to find out how to search an unlisted number. My father passed away last year, as I’m the eldest son it fell upon me to make all of the arrangements. Even though Dad had a long life, he was in good health. His heart attack was unexpected. My wife helped out by contacting the funeral parlor and arranging the service. I said that I would speak to family and friends and let them know about the funeral. My younger brother offered to host a wake.
I got out Dad’s old address book and started calling friends and family to tell them the bad news. I wish I had of known how to search an unlisted number then, it would of made my work a lot easier. Anyway, I started calling people but only got on to a handful of people. Most of the numbers were disconnected.

Pretty quickly it began to feel like I was banging my head against a brick wall. For every five calls I made, four would be disconnected. It became pretty clear that Dad had not kept his address book up to date. I tried the white pages but couldn’t find anything there, obviously these people had unlisted numbers. If I had not of worked out how to search an unlisted number my search may have ended there.
Myself and my wife got on the internet to see if we could find some more information on people. We didn’t have much luck in the listed directories. Even my Dad’s old friends had silent numbers. I stumbled across a comment in an ebook about how to search an unlisted number. I’d never heard of doing this before but it sounded pretty promising.
It took the help of an ebook to teach me how to search an unlisted number. Once I got the hang of it though it became easy. I found pretty much everyone in the address book. Despite the sad circumstances, it was good to catch up with family and friends on the phone, and later at Dad’s funeral.
Since then, knowing how to search an unlisted number has come in handy a few times. I’m a little bit forgetful and I often misplace important phone numbers and write things down incorrectly. Now, when I lose a number I simply jump on the computer and do a quick search. It saves me a lot of trouble, and sometimes even embarrassment.
